Moses Nabigwa the headteacher of Bubolo secondary school Masaba Sub County in Sironko district has been arrested for falsifying the enrolment of students.
According to Isaac Lulaba Wangwe the resident district commission of Sironko, Nabigwa was picked by police yesterday after him ordering the arrest.
He adds that the arrest follows the report he was given by the district education department showing that enrolment of the students under universal secondary education at Bubolo secondary school is one hundred and thirty-eight (138) as stated by the headteacher yet the actual number is fifty-eight (58) students.
Lulaba also described this as corruption of the highest order, Nabigwa is currently detained at Sironko CPS while investigations are still ongoing before being charged with embezzlement.
However, he urged other headteachers in the Sironko district to desist from similar vices to stop unless the law will catch up with them.
